What Are Your Thoughts On Brunello?
Well, my Wine Wednesday started off quite nice yesterday evening. Of course, I then went to a basketball game followed by a trip to my local watering hole. Let's just say that waking up this morning was quite the chore.
However, I think it is best to concentrate on the first hour of my drinking last night. I would love to get feedback from the twitter world and blog world on the wonderful wine Brunello.
SHOWTIME!
Today went well. Had a pleasantly busy day at the office with a little drama here and there. Hadn't seen that in awhile, so it was nice to get that out of our systems.
National Drink Wine Day
Well, I don't know about you but I sure had a good evening last night. Of course, I had a rough morning to go along with it, but I am about to open another bottle here soon to take the edge off.
It all started with a poor showing by the Ole Miss Rebels basketball team. Losing to Vanderbilit in the closing minutes. Not something that needs to be discussed here.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday - What's not to like?
I had a weekend to remember on the wine front. I will start with my first bottle that came from my inlaws. A 1999 Stags Leap Cabernet from the FAY Vineyard.
WOW! It was a good one.
A 2008 Montgras Carmenere Reserva
Yesterday and last night were good. Had a pleasantly busy day at the office with a little drama here and there. Hadn't seen that in awhile, so it was nice to get that out of our systems.
A Little Back Story
Last night I didn't enjoy my usual libation like I prefer. However, I had the chance to sit down and relax. Caught up on some of that LOST craze everyone is talking about. Well caught up are not the right words as I only watched the first two episodes of season one. My wife got terrified and insisted that we go back to the bedroom and call it a night.
The Beginning!
Well, I am going to attempt a blog here. Over the last two weeks and what looks to be the foreseeable future I will be trying to get a job out in wine country California. It will be a process and I thought it would be fun to keep track of it. I will also have some personal tasting notes every now and then as well. So stay in touch and I apologize for my lack of writing skills.
