This is part one and two of my video interviews with Steve Osborne of Stoutridge Vineyards.

Stoutridge Vineyard is a premium estate winery located in Marlboro, New York, 70 miles north of Manhattan, in the Hudson Valley AVA. They are members of the Shawangunk Wine Trail as well as the Meet Me In Marlborough Farm Trail.

Tuesday evening at the Thayer Hotel on the grounds of West Point was the preview for the 2009 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. Since I represent Hudson Valley Wine Country, I was there with my wonderful display, pouring wines from wineries that were gracious enough to supply me with an inventory of wine for the restaurant owners and chefs to taste to serve during Restaurant Week.

The Shawangunk Wine Trail continues to expand with the addition of two wineries to the wine trail. Palaia Vineyards in Highland Mills, New York and Brimstone Hill Vineyards in Pine Bush, New York. They will join the trail kicking off the season with the Pasta Primo – Vino April 18 & 19, 2009.

I've been thinking for a few weeks how to write this post. It is with great sadness that I bring this news to you. Rivendell Winery closed its doors the end of December 2008.
