Bring your blindfolds (just kidding!) and a bottle of California wine ($10+) to Sea Rocket Bistro on Saturday, Sep. 19th from 3-6pm. For $15, Sea Rocket will provide a variety of appetizers as well as the glassware to try everyone's blind contribution. There will be prizes for the top winner, as well as the chance to meet other fellow wine enthusiasts and discover a new local favorite.

Join us for a blind wine tasting Saturday, early afternoon...and really blind folds are not necessary. The last one I went to, there were 30 people and there was a lot of wine leftover (try not to drive, or...drink and spit).

To attend, bring a bottle of CALIFORNIA wine (worth $10 or more, not accepting 2 buck chuck or boxes - thanks) and (IMPORTANT) call Sea Rocket Bistro in advance to reserve your spot (Tel: 619-255-7049). The owner will put your delicious bottle in a brown paper bag and lable it red or white. You will then receive a pen and paper. Over the next 2 hours, you will taste over 30 wines and mark which ones appealed to you. There is a master list at the end of the night. The winner of the most popular wine, gets a gift. Bring nice CALIFORNIA wines people!! THERE WILL BE A LOT OF WINE LEFTOVER.

This event is special for Meetup people and space is limited to 15 people. Sea Rocket Bistro is opening its doors early for us. The event will last from 3 to 6pm. There is an automatic waiting list set-up.

The cost is $15.00 and bring a nice CALIFORNIA Wine.
