Join us Friday, May 21st, 2010 for an evening of wine, food, friends and music at Athens Market Taverna, downtown San Diego. Athens Market has earned 2009 Magazine Award, Best Mediterranean 2008 award from San Diego Magazine and many others.

We will transform ourselves to sunny, warm, ancient Greece and savor the wines from Peloponesse, the largest wine region. How do these exotic wines from far away compare to our California wines? We will find out by exploring invigorating Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma.

Delicious Greek appetizers will be served and there will be a discussion about wine and food pairing ideas.

1. Live music by a very talented musician, Jonathan Karrant. Jonathan performed in Metropolitan Opera House in New York and played Jazz, Blues and Pop music in major Las Vegas clubs.
2. Athens Market offers all attendees 20% discount on dinners and 40% discount on all bottles of wine from their wine list.
