Insights from retail experts, panel discussions on emerging trends in reaching consumers at retail, and The San Francisco POP Show Awards Contest will be featured as POPAI, The Global Association for Marketing at Retail, stages The San Francisco POP Show on Thursday, October 15, 2009. The event takes place from 3-8:30 PM at the Nob Hill Masonic Center, 1111 California Street, San Francisco, CA.
The San Francisco POP Show has been held since 1947 and is the only show dedicated to honoring POP on the West Coast. The day-long event features The San Francisco POP Show Awards, which include a competition, showcase and awards ceremony featuring the most creative and dynamic POP and packaging executions sold, produced or marketed on the West Coast. Afternoon panel discussions feature thought leaders from such innovative West Coast-based brands and retailers as Williams-Sonoma, Tranchero Family Estates and Great Face and Body, as well as leading POP and packaging agencies.

Panel Discussion: New Developments in Retail Experience; 3:00-4:00 PM
What is retail experience today? In our increasingly social and mobile world, retail brands are morphing. This session explores new in-store experiences from around the globe, including extensions and concepts designed to inspire, excite and inform the customer in new ways.

All entries are on view during the cocktail party and awards ceremony. The San Francisco POP
Show Awards will be presented in a total of 23 display and packaging categories as well as recognition for Best Original Artwork, Best Photography and Best Structural Design. The ceremony also includes presentation of the Dick Scott Award for excellence in retail marketing.
Ticket prices range from $55 for the gala only to $225 and up for various packages that include
entries in the awards competition as well as seminar and evening gala attendance.
