Angel Island State Park “The Jewel of San Francisco Bay” is threatened with closure due to a shortfall in revenue and the state deficit. Vino Moda and the Angel Island Wine Festival is asking Bay Area residents as well as visitors from California, the U.S., and the world to demonstrate how important parks are to our lives. When was the last time you visited Angel Island? Have you taken the tram ride, toured the island on a segway, bicycle, or by foot? Have you visited the Angel Island Immigration Station since the $15 million remodel that was just completed in February? You can take a ferry, dock your own boat, or even paddle a kayak to get there.

Wine Lovers can show their support by attending the Angel Island Wine Festival at Camp Reynolds. This is undoubtedly the “world’s most beautiful wine festival” on the Angel Island shore with breathtaking views of Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco skyline, and Belvedere Island. Vino Moda has partnered with Angel Island State Parks and Angel Island Company among others.
