Please join us for the SDAWS Spring 2009 Picnic at the Old Coach Vineyard and Winery in Poway. Sandy and Scott Mubarak will be our hosts at their beautiful, park-like vineyard in Poway. This will be an adult social event with food, wine and music.  Sorry, for safety reasons, no children this year.

Bring either an appetizer or dessert to share.  A catered BBQ lunch to include tri tip and chicken sausage, various salads, red potatoes, and baked beans, and bread will be prepared by Jim and Judi Brady.  With lunch under live oaks beside a tranquil lake, you'll enjoy local bluegrass band Gone Tomorrow.

What to bring : WINE GLASS, appetizer or desert to share, soft drinks, two bottles of wine, one to go with appetizers, one for the BBQ,  also, bottle for web developer/ band donation if you have not yet contributed.  Chairs and tables will be provided for the main part of the meal, but if youd like to lounge under a tree, bring a chair. Bring CASH or CHECK payable to Sam Oriza.  The BBQ lunch and entertainment is $10 per person for current SDAWS members, $15 per for guests.

Provided:  delectable lunch service, tables and chairs, water, Old Coach wine tasting, and music.  Be ready for a good time!

Directions:

From I-15, exit Rancho Bernardo Road and go east for 2.8 miles.  About half way along, RB Road changes name to Espola Road.  Go Left on Old Coach Road (stop light, Maderas signage) and go 1.4 miles.  Turn Left on Old Coach Drive.  At guard house, say you are going to the Mubaraks Old Coach Vineyard then you may pass. Continue .6 miles on Old Coach Drive and turn Right on Old Coach Way.  Continue for .5 miles to the Vineyard.
