Member Patrick Hamilton suggested we do a tequila tasting, so he met with the owners at Camarones (formerly Garduno's) in Gainey Village, and set up this great deal:

We will taste three 100% blue agave Don Julio tequilas - blanco, reposado, and anejo - as we listen to a presentation on what to look for when tasting tequilas and the characteristics of the various types of tequila. A happy hour buffet of fruit, veggies, cheese, chips and dip, taquitos and enchiladas will be provided - there will be lots of food! In addition, each attendee will receive a free drink of their choice: draft beer, well drink, house wine, or house margarita.

Cost is just $20 (which includes tax and tip), payable at the venue that night. Additional drinks can be purchased ($3 well drinks and wine, $4 house margaritas and $5 house frozen margaritas, and $2.50 draft mexican beer).

We will have a special area for our group just off the bar area, or on the patio, weather permitting. This event is limited to 25 people, so if you RSVP Yes and don't show up, you may be removed from future events if we have a waiting list. Please RSVP at www.meetup.com/VinVillage-Phoenix.
