Here is some requested feedback from the inaugural May 1st wine event at Angel Island:

Positives:

1. Weather was fantastic
2. Views of the Golden Gate were amazing
3. Trams to/from venue were timely
4. Park service staff was helpful
5. Wines that stood out were from Frank Family, Nicholson Ranch and Tudor
6. Live band was entertaining
7. Plenty of smartwater and Honest tea provided 

Negatives:

1. For those arriving early, check-in was slow
2. Queuing lines for ferries although was to be somewhat expected
3. Gift bags were cheesy
4. Food sampling (other than from a chocolate vendor) was not included although stated on event website 
5. Could not find the listed breweries to be represented

The negatives were diminished for me as had a free ticket...not so much for my friend.  Anyway, thanks Rob for the free ticket!!
