Hands down, the Seghesio Venum was the hit of the holidays in our home. Experienced wine drinkers and excellent food demand great wine. One night we served a pasta with roasted spaghetti sauce - and the Venum - which is 100% Sangiovese (http://www.seghesio.com/?ck=PNRMSBOGEW&pk=F0CB1F2307&section=Shop&Details=6385775). Intense flavors and aroma matched well with the heavy sauce.
