Some domestice sparkling wine for Valentines Day

Have you tried the Gruet Brute Rose? This French family came to the US to find an area as much like where their grapes are grown for their Champagne. They settled on area outside of Albuquerque, NM. (Yes, New Mexico!) This domestic sparkler should be well within your budget. And it is very good. My other suggestion is Maribel by Schramsberg. Schramsberg is a fine Napa producer, sourcing their grapes for the sparkling from the Carneros region. Both of these are in the $14 - $18 range. These wines may not be a Krug vintage Champagne, but they do offer great value for the price point.

Cristalino Spanish Cava...so

Cristalino Spanish Cava...so inexpensive you can try it before V-Day. It is highly rated as well. What I served last year is on my blog...search on valentine. (Some cute wine names like I love you in Italian.) Cheers!
