He joins us from Punta Cana, along with Erik Peters, Club Med Corporate Chef, to promote the inaugural international Food & Wine Festival at Club Med in Punta Cana where he is launching the release of his new book.... Flying Pans: Two Chefs, One World, a food and culture compendium from 40 different countries (which he has traveled to personally), celebrating his passion for food and cooking. Segment-4: Urban San Francisco Wine Association and Wine Club first anniversary update - John Tarabini

SFWA co-founder and Damian Rae winemaker John Tarabini joins us to talk about the significant growth in membership and local/regional/national interest concerning the urban winemaking gaining momentum in the US. Tarabini demonstrates that the Crushpad virtual winemaking village, an entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for wine can turn dreams into reality. The single biggest indicator of SFWA's impact is that non-SF based wineries want to join the club. Listeners can get involved with SFWA by signing up to receive a monthly shipment and support the urban wine scene.
