First segment of this weeks Show: Help Stop B50 neu Massive Bridge from being Built over the Mosel River - Sarah Washington

Germany's Mosel Valley is the birthplace of some of the world's finest Rieslings. The steep, breathtakingly beautiful vineyards have been the defining feature of the Middel Mosel's landscape, culture and heritage for more than 2,000 years. The planned road, named the B50 neu, will emerge from a tunnel through the side of the famous Ürziger Würzgarten wine mountain, cross the Mosel river via a gigantic concrete bridge and continue directly along the top of the vineyards of Zeltingen-Rachtig, Wehlen, Graach and Bernkastel, with an additional slip road passing close by the village of Erden. Some of the foremost Riesling winemakers are appealing for help in a last-ditch attempt to alert German politicians to what they believe to be an extreme mistake and the destruction of a treasure of world cultural heritage. Have a look at all the links below, invite your fellow Riesling and German wine lowers to join in the fight.

These images show the devastating damage of the bridge!

Second segment of this weeks Show: Pour an Aperol Spritz and Enjoy a little of the Italian Lifestyle - Cesare Vandini

APEROL, introduced in Padua, Italy in 1919, was setting trends long ahead of its time. That year, at the famed Padua Exhibition, brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri pioneered the revolutionary idea of a spirit with a lower alcohol content of just 11%. Their stylish and versatile creation, APEROL, inspired an aperitif which has become the signature drink of Italy: the Aperol Spritz. Today, thanks to its vibrant color and refreshing, palate-pleasing character, the Aperol Spritz is all the rage among sophisticated drinkers worldwide. Aperol Spritz: 2 Parts Aperol, 3 Parts Cinzano Prosecco, Splash of soda water; Serve over ice, garnished with an orange slice.
